With Kerbon, a product of the Steuler Tile Group, ceramic has now been further developed into a completely new innovative material, for new applications with a particularly noble visual effect. This is because Kerbon combines the irresistible properties of ceramics with unique dynamic stability.
An innovative high-tech process makes Kerbon ceramics so enormously resilient and shatterproof. To achieve this, two ceramic layers 6 mm thick and a specially developed solid layer are precisely coordinated to form a composite safety ceramic.
As a visually appealing view and wind protection, Kerbon is a design object in its own right. The material also impresses with its durability and longevity. It is color-fast, resistant to UV rays and all weather conditions. Completely maintenance-free and particularly easy to care for, the element is not only robust against organic damage, but also against mechanical influences.
With its possibilities in terms of design and application, the material also impressed the expert jury of the renowned Red Dot Award, which presented Kerbon 2022 with the awards for "Product Design" and "Innovative Product".
