About 20 million years ago, nature created our Bollinger hard sandstone. The elegant stone has been quarried since the 12th century in the region of the upper part of Lake Zurich. In the past, the workpieces were transported by ship to Zurich, where large parts of old Zurich were built with them. Today we are already in the fifth generation to dismantle the traditional building product, and we strive to show the modern side of the traditional building material as well. In the shaft method, we get up to approx. 15 tons heavy raw blocks in harmony with nature from a depth of up to 40 meters. In our modern factory, we process the blocks individually according to your wishes into garden slabs, steps, fountains, palisades and much more. Our Bollinger sandstone not only shines with durability, but also with aesthetics and an unbeatable carbon footprint.
