"POSITIVE DYNAMIC ART" is the trademark of Housi Knecht. The artist from Bern with his own sculpture garden at the Manorhouse Rubigen, where he also lives, is always worth a visit.
With light and water elements Housi Knecht creates amazing and unique impressions.
With his "POSITIVE DYNAMIC ART", in which spheres and rounded shapes play an important role and hardness is paired with lightness, he has created a unique selling point.
He was born in 1951 and emigrated to Australia at the age of 20, but then came back to Bern and opened his first atelier in the old town in 1971.
Interested in everything that was happening in the world, he traveled a lot, including to New York, Hong Kong or through Russia and Japan. Finally, in 1982, he married Barbara M. Scheidegger. With her he has two wonderful daughters, both of whom are now married themselves.
In 2013 Housi and Barbara took over the castle in the Manorhouse Rubigen and turned it into an art and culture park, which can be visited every Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
